Health Certificate for Fish and Fish Products' Export
Description: Trade license is a mandatory document to start any business in Bangladesh. A business needs to declare itself as an exporter in Trade License. A Trade License is issued by the City Corporation or Municipality’s relevant office (e.g., Union Parishad or Pourashava). An exporter has to take a Trade License from the area where his business is located.

Steps to get Health Certificate form Fish Inspection and Quality Control Department
Step 1: Apply to any of the relevant FIQC stations (Dhaka, Khulna, Chattogram)/ sub stations (Jessore, Benapole) using suggested form, with necessary documents
Step 2: Gather the required documents and attaches them with Application.
Step 3: Submit the Application to the Fish Inspection and Quality Control Office, Department of Fisheries.
Step 4: Deputy Director (DD) receives and sees the Application.
Step 5: DD sends the Application to the Inspector.
Step 6: Inspector verifies the Application and documents.
Step 7: Inspector conducts inspection and submits a report to the Quality Control Officer.
Step 8: Inspector collects samples at the time of inspection and submits report after inspection to DD (only organoleptic test by relevant authorized personnel of up to 10 KG of product can be done at different ports)
Step 9: Quality Control Officer sends the samples to the lab
Step 10: Lab conducts the test
Step 11: Lab officer submits test report to the Deputy Director
Step 12: Quality Control Officer and Inspector verifies the lab report and recommend for Certificate
Step 13: Deputy Director approves the Application
Step 14: Applicants deposit the desired fee to Sonali bank code : 1-4431-0000-2071
Step 15: Applicant collects the Certificate form the concerned Section. In case of FIQC Dhaka, applicant can also collect the form online
