REX সিস্টেমে নিবন্ধন

Description: The Registered Exporter system (the REX system) is a system of Certification of Origin of goods based on a principle of self-certification. It is mandatory to be registered in the REX system developed and maintained by European Union (EU) to export to EU, Norway, Switzerland, and Turkey. The exporters declare the origin of goods. To be entitled to declare a statement of origin, the exporter must be registered in a database maintained by the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB).

 

Legal Basis of the Certificate: Regulation (EU) 2015/2447 (Importing Country Requirement)

Responsible Agency: Export Promotion Bureau (EPB)

Applicability: Anyone who wants to export from Bangladesh to the European Union (EU)

Time of Submission: Before export

Method of Submission: Online

Fee: Free of charge

Processing Time: 7 working days

Validity: Onetime Registration

 

Steps to Register in REX System

 

Step 1: Select the following URL to access the online form for registration to the REX system: REX Application Form
Step 2: Fill out/complete the REX Application Form online. Make TIN Number using Tax Identification Number (TIN) issued by NBR as per the following relation:
TIN = BD + TIN issued by NBR (write without any space)
Step 3: After filling all required data in the REX Application Form, click “Proceed” to submit the REX Application online
Step 4: Print the Application Form by clicking “Print”
Step 5: Put Signatures/Seals at all relevant places (box 5 & 6) on the printed Application Form
Step 6: Submit the Application form to EPB (offline)
Step 7: If everything is fine, EPB will issue a REX number to the exporter.

 

Required Documents

  1. Filled up the prescribed Application Form (printed hardcopy with signature of the exporter)
  2. EPB Enrollment Certificate
  3. Authorization Letter in case of a representative acting on behalf of the exporter
  4. TIN certificate
